- This course builds on CHM 203
- The main goals are to build basic chemical knowledge
- Catching up is impossible in Summer General Chemistry II
- 2 hours a day minimum is best
- This is a self-paced course
- Still be actively engaged daily
- You have to be engaged with the video
- Each chapter has a learning objective packet that is distributed with it
- Exam questions come from the learning objectives
- Each packet has key equations
- All problems that are in the videos are in the packet
- Homework from the packets is not collected, but it is the single most important thing you can do for the exam
- Lecture videos typically last 30–50 minutes
- Each assignment on Knewton takes 10–30 minutes to complete
- Each chapter has 1 unit of material, except for the last exam, which covers 2 unites of material.
- Notify Dr. Villa in advance for any potential exam misses
